Since alot of people have been posting threads on this i thought i'd make this to save them time waiting for a answer.
What causes this error?
This error code is caused by an incorrect CID.
How do i fix this?
Easiest
Fix 1. Simply change your CID via CCAPI, yes it's that easy (you'll need to do this everytime you load the console)

Fix 2. Download PS3ITA Manager You must login or register to view this content. load it up and goto network settings, then press restore original CID, next you'll need rebug toolbox You must login or register to view this content. open it and scroll right to "Utilities" and then scroll down until you find "Change Active PS3ID" (which i believe is the bottom option) and set your EID to "CEX", close rebug toolbox and try sign in!

I’m too L33T
I just bought a ps3 from a friend it was on rogero 4.55 and now I changed to rebug 4.65 then I tried to convert to dex with kryptus's video tutorial, I did step by step but after done dumping and shit I have lv2 kernel cex and target type dex.
I dont think its right, so I just spoofed to 4.70 and I got this error 8002a224. what method should I use? Please answer Temp

Any of the methods will work, if one doesn't try the other

KHATPHAT methods worked for me but after RESTORE DEFAULT PSID & CONSOLE ID" and exit "IRISMAN
I am able to sign to psn but the disc icon disappeared and I cant load the game
please help me
