Since alot of people have been posting threads on this i thought i'd make this to save them time waiting for a answer.

What causes this error?
This error code is caused by an incorrect CID.

How do i fix this?

Easiest
Fix 1. Simply change your CID via CCAPI, yes it's that easy (you'll need to do this everytime you load the console)

Fix 2. Download PS3ITA Manager You must login or register to view this content. load it up and goto network settings, then press restore original CID, next you'll need rebug toolbox You must login or register to view this content. open it and scroll right to "Utilities" and then scroll down until you find "Change Active PS3ID" (which i believe is the bottom option) and set your EID to "CEX", close rebug toolbox and try sign in! Needa

your cid is banned from someone else so meaning your cid wasnt private to you someone else got it banned thats why

You might not have been banned, I know 110% my cid is not banned but whenever I try to use a method of getting online I either get the error or that ive been banned. Ill let you know if I find a way around this

Start irisman
Open The first then go to The last an SPOOF psid and cid

The way I fixed mine was deleting CCAPI from ps3 and then reinstalling it worked like a charm hope it works for you guys too I thought my ps3 was a goner.

yeh but you have to do this everytime u boot ps3 ,we need a permanent way and ps3ita manager doesnt work on dex 4.80 unsopported firmware
