Well after I reformat it and try and run the system update it does the loop where it restarts and doesnt completely finish the install. I have tried looking up forums on how to fix this error code loop but I cannot find a fix everytime I try something new it just goes back to the screen that says The System software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try to restart the system. Then it says connect storage media that contains update data of version 4.70 or later. PLEASE HELP ME OMG I havent been able to run this PS3 for a month now I really want to be able to use it again. PS I am able to go to the recovery screen if that matters.

If you do that ,it will unjailbreak your PS3. You will need to downgrade to get it back.

That's fine just aslong as I can play BO2. Ill do anything man.... If you have skype and could help me fix it right there ill do it....

Put your ps3 into recovery mode

download '999 downgrader' if you are on cex, if you are on dex download '3.55 Dex Downgrader'

and install via recovery menu in "system update"

I still need help... I tried doing 999 downgrader and I also tried 3.55 Kmeaw. But it says it cannot find the applicable storage file... Please Help
