Well after I reformat it and try and run the system update it does the loop where it restarts and doesnt completely finish the install. I have tried looking up forums on how to fix this error code loop but I cannot find a fix everytime I try something new it just goes back to the screen that says The System software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try to restart the system. Then it says connect storage media that contains update data of version 4.70 or later. PLEASE HELP ME OMG I havent been able to run this PS3 for a month now I really want to be able to use it again. PS I am able to go to the recovery screen if that matters.

I couldnt get it off of the PSN site it kept giving me 4.75 when I was on 4.70. (Thats if my downgrade failed.) If I cannot fix this let me know so I can just go buy a new PS3
