(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); After a lot of work, I finally managed to change the GameID of PSJailbreak's BackUp Manager to one of a real game. (See Below!)

Original Manager.PKG GameI Sad Awesome

LAUN12345 >>> Not real ID
My Manager.PKG GameI Sad Awesome

BLES00232 >>> Sega Superstars Tennis

I didn't modify the EBOOT.BIN, but did modify PARAM.SFO and ICON0.PNG.

I will release a tutorial soon to explain how I did it. Please Note: I am also the same Xcellerator on PS3 News, so this post will also appear there...

The fixed BM Section 8 one doesn't work for internal drive

PS3 ftp Server with Section 8 id after install pkg, it still use folder FTPD12345 not NPEB00200.

Can you upload the right one? thanks

I don't mean to necro a thread, but I have some questions.

Is this method still viable to connect to PSN?

And, just to clarify, can I use these stealthed back-up managers to play any game on PSN or just the ones on the site?

Also, should I disconnect my PS3 from the internet before installing this, or can I just keep it plugged in and I'll be fine?

Last question, what's the PS3 FTP? I'm new at this, and I don't get a lot of the terms.
