No you should be fine. Just install the PKG

i am backing up mw2 as we speak using the TI-84 port method. and yes you can back up game with this .pkg but only to an external hard drive im sorry to say. i have to use my 8gb flash drive as a external hard drive.

I have a 500 GB external HDD. Last question, do you only need to jailbreak once? Or do you have to it everytime you turn on your PS3? And is there a way to reverse it?

you must keep plugging in your device with the psjailbreak on it and pressing power/eject everytime you want to use the jailbreak. the jailbreak in temporary until the device is unplugged from the ps3. all you have to do to get rid of the jb is turn off ps3 and unplug device and turn on normally

the link is in the thread. go to the website and on the right hand side it says backup managers. choose it. on the right side again it will say a list of games. choose any game. these are just different stealths for the jailbreak. i used mw2. then it will either download instantly or it will be a download link in the body paragraph of the page that shows up. hope i helped

Wait I just had a lightbulb moment, could you use PSGroove to install this back up manager? Because they took out the backup manager in PSGroove so would this solve that problem? Or does this just change the game id?

DONT DO DEAL WITH THIS GUY OR BUY STUFF FROM HIM, hes a scammer!!! btw im level 1 extremely trustworthy, he scammed me on my skate 2 plat i pay him paypal 2 months ago still no plat, guys full of excuses he dnt respond to my messages, he uses 2 paypal to scam, ill post my dispute soon for this guy, i talked to some MODS already, ill get this guy banned here n hes 2 paypal account so he will know who is he messing with..
heres hes plat service thread he ddnt post or update u 2 months now so no one can bump it..
