It still work normally if you know where to navigate to and a pc will recognize it. So my question is does the screen matters if you cant see anything on it or if it does matter can someone tell me where to navigate to or if someone knows how to fix the problem without replacing parts can post what to do. Doesn't matter as long as you know what's going on the screen when your pressing the buttons. Rockbox is a easy install and with IPL you just reboot and scroll all the way to the bottom and pick it. Shouldn't be THAT hard.

Then replace the rockbox.ipod with the payload you want. Here is PL3: You must login or register to view this content.

After that hold the menu and the middle button until the ipod reboots. Then press the middle button and you'll here a beep. That means the mene showed up. Now scroll all the way down as if you were scrolling to a song. Then press the middle button. Wait about 10 seconds and rockbox should be loaded and do the regular procedure.
