(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so my friend is giving me his ipod nano 1st gen but the problem is that the picture on the screen doesnt display. It still work normally if you know where to navigate to and a pc will recognize it. So my question is does the screen matters if you cant see anything on it or if it does matter can someone tell me where to navigate to or if someone knows how to fix the problem without replacing parts can post what to do. Thanks

ok I give up trying to do the jailbreak without seeing the screen. So does anybody knows that if I can use a screen from a 2nd generation nano to replace the screen on a 1st gen nano?

Why bother? If you've seen those 2 folders you've jailbroken your PS3..

You don't need to see what it's doing, just use Hermes V4b and you'll be fine, it's just PL3 seems to be very sensitive with timing (I can't get it to work on my perfectly working Nano 1G).

With the hassle and expense of replacing the screen, I'd just order a Teensy/AVR dongle if I was you (although you don't need to!).

I have a Nano 2nd Gen... Rockbox FULLY supports it, so there's gotta be a way to get a jailbreak on it.
