About 9 hours ago i was browsing on PSU fourms and i came across by the person was comment saying he already stored CFW on his PS3 and able go online with CFW....to Play MOH game for an hour. 5 hours later He turn his PS3 on again to play more but his PSN account got banned just liked that. (i don't know he telling true or not)
Other guy reply to him and said he believes that the Database was tracking it and that caused his account to banned.


I was shitting myself because i have heard the word of "Database" before and i found this link thread again from 2 weeks ago, of course i was there when i replyed it.

Just read it all until you get to page 2 when mc telling what database can do to your PS3.
Mc was ex-employee from Sony in past and i don't have premission from Mc because he wasn't signed in for a week.

So it's up to you guys if you planning installing CFW
Right now i really don't know if i should use CFW yet because of Database.:confused:

Guys maybe if you didn't pirate games and just did other things related to hacking.... home brews or whatever Sony wouldn't care and they would see we can stand on our own two feet, and possibly let us use home brews and such without having to alter our system...

Why the hell not.. they obviously cant stop us so why not just compromise with us.

Usb is the only way people who don't have the internet can update there ps3 (without moving there ps3).

So I doubt they would remove that feature.

I guess its not in their blood, look how long it took the ps3 to get fully hacked (4 years, longest ever for a console)

True, this will effect many people if it gets removed

FYI, ive had this installed sence it came out, played online and stayed logged on with my ps3 sitting idle, no bans.

why do you think they put the updates on the games? and most games only require a certain update to be played, guarantee they remove usb updating and start putting the updates on every game disk.

Most updates for games are to fix bugs within the game.

you misunderstood what i said, a lot of games now adays have the FW on the disk to install so it can play the game. they will remove the feature to use removable media to upgrade the FW.
