About 9 hours ago i was browsing on PSU fourms and i came across by the person was comment saying he already stored CFW on his PS3 and able go online with CFW....to Play MOH game for an hour. 5 hours later He turn his PS3 on again to play more but his PSN account got banned just liked that. (i don't know he telling true or not)
Other guy reply to him and said he believes that the Database was tracking it and that caused his account to banned.


I was shitting myself because i have heard the word of "Database" before and i found this link thread again from 2 weeks ago, of course i was there when i replyed it.

Just read it all until you get to page 2 when mc telling what database can do to your PS3.
Mc was ex-employee from Sony in past and i don't have premission from Mc because he wasn't signed in for a week.

So it's up to you guys if you planning installing CFW
Right now i really don't know if i should use CFW yet because of Database.:confused:

possibly true because i know people get banned for dloading to many free things from ps store and filing transfering because Sony can see that.

i don't think sony can see we have CFW, it looks just the same as a normal firmware to sony...

damn that would be shit, are here any experts who know that for sure that sony can see it or not? I have only 1 ps3, and it´s already on the custom firmware

I dont know, i mean this is exactly the same firmware as 3.55 in sony's eyes isnt it? Maybe they can see if we "updated" 3.55 two times?

No they cant see it.

1. theres no confimed reports its the cfw.
2. The firmware is signed so it doesnt flag up on sonys system.s

"Database is like Time sheet record, and it store to sony server (bit like criminal record sheet)

How many hours you played Offline
How many hours you played Online
How many times you log on and log off (Date,Time and Year)
How many you sent message and revice message

All your message you send is saved to Sony server also same as your friend message saved too (incase of racist or insulting, which can be report)

How many PSN friends you got
How many PSN friends you delete
How many PSN friends you put in block list
How many Retail game you played on your PS3
How many PSN game you played
Blu-ray film and DVD also included
Trophy Information
Device USB information (Normal USB and Jailbreak Dongle)

and many more. Database collects everything what you been doing your PS3. Don't FORGET !!! Sony can use database for banhammer soon or later.

Quite alot people got their PSN account banned for gamesharing from Friends, If you played PSN game you don't owned and it show up on database and the same time its show no record of you buying that PSN on Playstation Stores. This is how Sony knows.

Sony can tell if you insert Jailbreak Dongle in PS3 (Device USB information) Also they can tell if you played Backed up on PS3 gamed on Harddrive same Trophy hacked application or Homebrew, Anything you activate will trigger to register to Database)

Nobody won't get banned from using jailbreak if only they used PS3 that's never goes online. Only if they accidentally connect internet while they still offline on the PS3 which automatically upload Database file to Sony server, if that happen Jailbreak owners will likely ****ed if banhmmer comes soon or later.
