i had kakarotos 3.55 cfw firmware i downloaded geohots cfw which is 5mb then installed it using usb it finished real fast then i heard a few beeps i was like *wtf* xD then my PS3 Turned off so i turned it back on and i tried installing the test.pkg but still i got a error --

Guys trying to upgrade from Kakarotos wont brick your system just wont work!
Installed OFW and upgraded working fine now plz Geohot release the other tools now since your precious Jets won

SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A THREAD from KAK 3.55 CFW you MUST INSTALL 3.55 OFW ps3update.pup first... I DID IT BOTH WAYS i did just what you did and got a 8 digit error code IF YOU TRY AND RUN TEST.PKG after overwriting KAK3.55 with 3.55-JB you get 80029564

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL 3.55 FROM USB STORAGE YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO TO RECOVERY TO DO THIS AT ALL... then after i got back to OFW 3.55 i installed geohots 3.55-JB patch and it runs the test.PKG fine after that as you saw in the video i posted
