Post: Sony cannot Dis-able your PS3. Explained.

Vast majority of the above threads were like "OMG I am scared":catfight:
I need to explain this, in NO way sony will dis-able your PS3.
Why?
The HARDWARE IS CLEARLY YOURS. It's illegal to dis-able your PS3 because it's considered Vandalism.
If they dis-abled your console then you have every right to sue Sony and remember there will be "few" millions joining you. And even if they won , they will spend ridiculous amount of money on this because if they lost, they are bankrupt.
However, Sony can still ban your console from accessing PlayStation Network and prevent you from downloading any future updates.
I suggest switching back to OFW and clearing your Data-base files because once you log in , a clear log is sent to Sony.
Be careful , Sony will make "MAD" Bans but most likely this will be for 3.60 CFW or something.

No. but they can stop you or me or anyone that hacks and gets caught while doing so. sure you will never stop EVERY rule breaker, as there is forums like this to keep the hacking and glitching alive... But in their view they believe that by kicking those people out they will achieve a "wow you banned a glitcher/hacker" award when really they are postponing the inevitable doubt that they will never stop anyone that wants to do whatever the hell they want :hitman:. In all honesty instead of banning or wasting theyre time writing long threads about how they are going to fix it. Another useless thread on this? Will people understand that it does not matter what people "think" may happen. When it happens it happens and we deal with it then. There are almost a hundred of these post's that have surfaced since homebrew has arose and it is getting really old. The next thread that pop's up about ban's should be taken down immediately. There should also be a sticky that says "DO NOT ask about ban's or your thread will be deleted!". That would fix all these useless posts. I said it once and I said it twice and now I will say it a third time, quit wasting this section of the forum with complete and utter useless information. When Sony makes it's move we will all talk about it then. So drop the issue and put a smile on your face that nothing has happened yet.

sony dont have the right to "brick" your ps3 because its your hardware and you purchased it, but they own the software and in their terms it says this software is theres and if the terms are broken they have the right to take it away. If you have a PS3 with no software it wont work.

In the meanwhile, it will promote people to go to Xbox..... so why would they? Not only that... what does one do with a system they cant go online w? Hack more.
