I'm not banned, and I'm not going to get banned.
A friend of mine was scared shitless when he saw someone claiming they got banned and he went back to the real firmware. I can't convince him that he's not going to get banned. Thousands of people used that CFW, and I'm sure at least a couple people bought a ps3 when they heard about it. I'm sure in the long run it's gaining Sony money, and banning thousands of people would cause them to lose money.

Ok, so. If I get PS3 banned, my parents will NOT buy a new one.
Right now im on the CFW, with BlackBox installed. Do you guys think I should go back to the regular firmware? i doubt they will ban anyone, but to be safe should I go back to official firmware? will it even make a difference? because of the boot logs and stuff. Someone get back to me please

If sony banned you it would be completely wrong. The only legit reason sony would have to ban you is because they're mad. That's it.
It's not illegal in anyway, and it's YOUR ps3.
I personally don't think they will ban anyone. I think all they're going to do is try to patch it. And fail miserably because they have no clue that they can't stop us.
