Sony has the money and has some of the best lawyers in America and you and your lawyer will be smashed just like how you are every night on Black ops and in Mw2. I mean why else would you make challenge lobby's to get a 50 k/d and a million kills (not even joking on that one)
I also hope this retard Geohot is jailed or sued. Even better would be if he were forced to pay for every game that was pirated by the community. With intelligence like his, he goes and hacks a kiddy console while he could use his brains to actually do good to this world. Another reason why the whole world sees most Americans as idiots, (because they actually are, we are ranked extremely low in math and science for such a developed country)

Otherwise, the brunt of Sony's actions will fall upon the community of people who are actually sincere and enjoy what they have to offer, not the people who are ruining the community. I am not against hacking but we all know what CFW will lead to (look at PSP) so I will talk to try to stop this bs.

Ok, I only got through the fist page of this before I know i don't need to read the rest. I hope I am not repeating something someone has already said. There is no debate of what Sony can or will do. Here are the facts of what they can do to end this or to your console.
-Sony can NOT legally brick your system. Only you can through improper hacking.
-Sony CAN ban your console from connecting to PSN. Not just your account but the console. It bans your IP and your serial. Yes they can see it so signing up for a new PSN would do you know good.
Most likely what they will do is send out an update that forces you to download in order to connect to PSN. It will most likely detect your firmware, see that you are hacked, and ban your console. They will not brick your console that is illegal. But as far as what they can and can't do with PSN. Well that is their server and realistically they can ban whoever they want whenever they want. This is a video game network. Not government. In the end PSN is theirs and if they don't want you on it they have that right. So pleaseeeeeee.....
