TION:This Custom Firmware for the PS3 increases the system features of your console to
allow the installation and execution of homebrew applications.
This Custom Firmware could allow too the loading of legal copies (backups) using
these new included features.
RISK OF BRICKS:
Update: Follow the below list. Find your model # on the PS3 itself. Do not attempt this with 256MB NAND.

thank you very much for getting back to me one thing tho the ps3 i brought of a m8 and it one of the codes that could brick your ps3 you think i should update to goehotz then wait for a newer waninkoko cfw that wont brick it i dont no what to do lol
it got the code CECHCO3 but no * does this mean i should not update it using waninkoko cfw any help is great thank you very much people

ok i did it and it worked and still works but im not liking it much more then geohotz one because you cant play downloaded games

All slims work, you have to insall the CFW from 3,41 or from 3,55 with recovery. All with the ofw. If u have cfw geohot first install ofw
