Create another folder called UPDATE within the PS3 folder. Put the .PUP file in the UPDATE folder

Put USB in PS3 Turn off PS3, press and hold power button until the ps3 comes on and goes back off, press and hold power button again until PS3 beeps once followed by team more beeps in succession. Plug in controller with USB and press PS button, go to bottom and press X then press select and start at the same time when prompted. Install OFW.

Step 2 CFW Download Lv2 Pre-Patched CFW here (this should fix the problem people are having with Kmeaw freezing occasionally) You must login or register to view this content. replace the CFW with the OFW on the USB and do the same thing you did to install OFW

Step 3 BackUp Download You must login or register to view this content. and the newest MultiMan (released today) here You must login or register to view this content. put them in the root of your USB, don't put them in any folder, install the PKGs on PS3 go to MultiMan and back-up your game after back-up just pick the game you want to load

am using the first Original version (not updated) and so far my PS3 has frozen twice.

Dont remember the first time but second time was when i Quit Dead Space after 4 hours of gameplay. While Loading XMB it just froze.

I've played ModNation without any problems the first time. Then i've tryed to play Maffia II, also no problem. But while I was playing I looked on the XMB and my PS3 freezes. After that I wanted to play ModNation again, but this freezes at the startup. Also multiman is freezing alot. Whatthe****iswrong?

can anyone help me out? i am trying to use blackbox ftp 1.2 and i can't seem to see my external hard drive in the FTP client on my pc i only see my usb stick, what is up with that? i need to access my external to get to my backup game.

did you format the HDD as FAT32?
