You don't understand how to change stuff in firmwares properly but want to imagine that you are a 1337 hacking bad ass that gets bitches left and right?
Modify license.txt and version.txt with notepad to say whatever you want and see that it comes up whilst updating.
License.txt is what comes up in the installation agreement about bullshit where you pay for the PS3 but don't get to use even 10% of it's abilities or they'll sue you.
Version.txt is what version it says you're updating to e.g. 3.56 or ub3r1337hax 9.99 since you've modified it.
If you want your firmware re packaged ask me and I might do it for you.

Now im saying this that this is easy for us.
we dont need this firmware we need 3.55 Kmeaws CFW so if we unpack change the version on both sign it again then repack into .PUP simple so i hope we can all do this

That wont work as the playstation doesn't check what firmware it is on before it loads live, it checks a certain thing in the firmware. I'm currently looking for this, but it's not the easiest thing to find.
