You don't understand how to change stuff in firmwares properly but want to imagine that you are a 1337 hacking bad ass that gets bitches left and right?

Modify license.txt and version.txt with notepad to say whatever you want and see that it comes up whilst updating.

License.txt is what comes up in the installation agreement about bullshit where you pay for the PS3 but don't get to use even 10% of it's abilities or they'll sue you.

Version.txt is what version it says you're updating to e.g. 3.56 or ub3r1337hax 9.99 since you've modified it. Dancing

If you want your firmware re packaged ask me and I might do it for you.

well, couple days ago, the day of the update i tried to jailbreak myne friends ps3, and then put all the shit on it like 3.55 CFW, before 3.56 and it didnt load, i guess was because the 3.56 was coming on. or something like that.

The usb is in fat32, but the files in the winrar is Not PUP it is a normal map

can this method be used to trick 3.55ofw into being firmware 3.56?
or is it only "graphic sided"?
