To be honest, it's not mine to share. If Cyndicate gave the ok to tell others, or if he did himself, then it would be fair game... But we had a discussion a while back about patenting. He has done a lot of things over the years that have been stolen by other people and those people claimed they were the ones to figure it out, from what I gather about him...this is his biggest issue. I am not sure what his status is on giving up the secret of the 'real' lag switch is, but I am sure he wants full credit for it, which is why I am mentioning his name here. If I go and start telling people, before you know it the original roots of the invention will be lost and he probably wouldn't be able to prove it as his own.
If you like I can PM you his site and you can probably contact him directly. I personally haven't talked to him for almost a year now, and if this lag method is still not out in the public yet...then that means he hasn't told many other people about it or just doesn't want it released.

soz, but im having the same problem.
i dont actually have a modem, its:
router-> ps3 and wen i put the lagswitch inbewteen, i get no lag, just lost connection
can i do anything to get lag?
So you have one of those dual-routers where its a modem and router in one? Sadly, based on my own experience, there isn't much you can do besides what foolness mentioned, but even that will be very minor lag increase if anything at all. The absolute key with lag is doing it behind a router, because when you sever the connection in front of the router, it drops the PS3's IP to protect the rest of the network, which means you lose connection to the PSN. When its done behind the router, the IP is left in tact (for longer at least) and lets you do a little more before the PS3 (or router) realize something isn't right.
