using cain and abel by poising the connection to my ps3.

any ways to increase coz if i do it more than 10 secs the game ends.

the thing is i cant hav a long cord from downstairs to upstairs

my parents wouldnt be too happy, i justthought if i cud increase length for my wireless one it might increase the lag

so instead of a 5m cable between my router and modem, i could use a 10m to see if it made a difference,

then use cain and abel to lag

also do u think a network switch would do anything?

ive read about it increasing lag time and that longer ethernets are useless becuase the data travels so fast.

That is only true in some cases with my extra 20ft lag it gives me 15 seconds more lag, If you buy a network switch and it doesnt work can I possibly have it I might be able to help boost many peoples lag time by alot if I can get a network switch to look around with

what should i upgrade too?

thats probally the best you'll get I'd say just take the cord from your computer add it to it see what you get because I added 20 more ft to my 40 and I get the same lag time so not worth it. I really need a network switch if someone could lend me like $8 from a vista debit or paypal I could find a way to boost everyones lag by alot most likely
