The glitch only works with update 1.10 hence you have to downgrade if you want to use the glitch and before I receive another million questions on how to downgrade here is how it works:
Delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder on your ps3 and then start the game. Now download and install all updates up to the sixth one which is 1.10. As soon as update 7 starts (got 62 MB) press the circle button to cancel. That's it.
Keep in mind that you lose everything that is saved in the game data (pictures, replays and thumbnails). You will also lose the cars from 2011 if you played on version 2.0 already. No need to say that you can't go online with GT5 if you play on an older version.
Always keep a backup copy of your savefile on a USB-stick just to be on the safe side.

I think its more easy to do without that glitch, because as bum-bum-joey said, when we drive under the curse we spawn back off the road...

this trick works, but fuck its hard to stay on the road without it actually respawning to the actual road, i fear I might go too slow just trying to stay on the white road on the map but what was your GTR setup? ABS? traction level?

The ABS should be at 1, and the traction level to 1 as well. But it's a matter of preference when you actually get into the glitch.

The easiest way to follow the route is to make your map size to 2 or 3, that should let you see the road clearly, so at that point, you're not looking at the road, but rather, you're looking at your map.

And do not go off the road for more than 5 seconds.

i got it on second lap like he said 5 second out it will pull you back on track i didnt do to many shortcuts my time was 6:59

Hmm, should I do this? I'm averaging times of 7:48 and I've just began playing the game again after 6 months+ off, only problem is my download speed is real slow :/
