The glitch only works with update 1.10 hence you have to downgrade if you want to use the glitch and before I receive another million questions on how to downgrade here is how it works:
Delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder on your ps3 and then start the game. Now download and install all updates up to the sixth one which is 1.10. As soon as update 7 starts (got 62 MB) press the circle button to cancel. That's it.
Keep in mind that you lose everything that is saved in the game data (pictures, replays and thumbnails). You will also lose the cars from 2011 if you played on version 2.0 already. No need to say that you can't go online with GT5 if you play on an older version.
Always keep a backup copy of your savefile on a USB-stick just to be on the safe side.

i have plat save of gt5 if u want all events and license will pop on load

Im a Stiq - I was told that the gt-r trophy as well as a few others have to be *earned* through the race, and, not with someone's save. Is that not true?

you cant do this trophy with the save you have to it your self save will give you instant 53% some of the trophies you need to do it by your self

This is the last trophy I need. I've given up on doing it myself. I've done an almost perfect lap yet couldn't get under 7:40. I don't want to try the glitch because my download speed is so slow and I prefer to play games instead of waiting for downloads.

I'm looking for someone to do for me but I guess I've got to wait till 100 posts to unlock the trade section, unless someone in this thread really enjoys doing this

ive gone into arcade > time trial > and there's 2 nurburgring courses GP/F and GP/D
but they're only small tracks??

When you load the track with the car, just before you start the race, you can see all the previous race times you have done for the particular track, and they stay there until you clear the board.. so surely if you used a save with the nissan gt-r trophy record time, and just run a slow lap around with the previous record for trophy on the board, it should pop without needing to glitch or go super fast? just a theory..

I can confirm this glitch is 100% working, got a lap time of 7:10.807 using this method, but it's hard and can take over an hour to achieve due to the game kicking you out of the glitch is you stay off the track for too long
