In Mass Effect 3, there are two save files, a locked profile save and one that you guys can all download. The profile save tracks trophies with counters such as Unwavering (27 missions on insanity), 100 overloads, 500 kills, etc. Because of this, you can only get things that only happen once on other peoples' saves like completing missions or beating the game on insanity.

Ah so what you mean is even if someone saved their game right at the end of the last mission to get unwavering it wouldn't register because my profile would still be tracking my own original saves?

Perhaps someone can make save before last mission.

Yeah exactly. I noticed on my ME3 that there was a locked save, and from what I've read, it does all the tracking of stats. If anyone can try loading the save and checking if their progress remains, that would probably confirm it, but I know for a fact that my counters are tracked in between different save sets. I think that's how it tracks through all playthroughs, since the 5000 kills goes for SP and MP, and between different characters in SP.
