Okay, so most everyone has heard that Metal Gear Solid 4 is getting a trophy patch in about a month or so:

So I decided to preempt the patch release date and upload my saves for the game when I earned the Big Boss emblem back in '08. I've got three saves ready to go here:
- One save is just before the Liquid fight at the end of Act 5 on The Boss Extreme Difficulty. As long as you beat Liquid within about 15-20 minutes, you should be good to get the Big Boss Emblem/Rank. Remember to skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit needed for the Rank.
- One save is just after the above save, thus, Liquid has been beaten and you're ready to watch the end of the game (skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit).
- The final save is on Liquid Easy and it's after I've beaten the game many times and I've gotten all but the Panther rank (I think it's Panther I need, anyway -- hey, it was four YEARS ago). Every item in the game has been acquired at this point and it's right at the start of Act 4 (Shadow Moses base).

Big Boss shouldn't be that hard if you've done it once before. That said, it will probably be harder if you start on Big Boss with a fresh save rather than using a previously completed save since you'll be short on stun ammo. When I did Big Boss, I made sure I was fully stocked on stun ammo and emotion rounds.

that was a reply to people asking if they are retro-active. using xploder/cfw may may still work but if its anything like gta, old saves will be void, trophies will only be active on newer saves
