Okay, so most everyone has heard that Metal Gear Solid 4 is getting a trophy patch in about a month or so:

So I decided to preempt the patch release date and upload my saves for the game when I earned the Big Boss emblem back in '08. I've got three saves ready to go here:
- One save is just before the Liquid fight at the end of Act 5 on The Boss Extreme Difficulty. As long as you beat Liquid within about 15-20 minutes, you should be good to get the Big Boss Emblem/Rank. Remember to skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit needed for the Rank.
- One save is just after the above save, thus, Liquid has been beaten and you're ready to watch the end of the game (skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit).
- The final save is on Liquid Easy and it's after I've beaten the game many times and I've gotten all but the Panther rank (I think it's Panther I need, anyway -- hey, it was four YEARS ago). Every item in the game has been acquired at this point and it's right at the start of Act 4 (Shadow Moses base).
Okay, enough of that... here are the saves:

A little thanks from those who download would be a nice gesture, especially if this works when the patch is released. Hopefully this works and we don't have to go through the absolute NIGHTMARE of getting the Big Boss Rank again for the trophy.

Man Please change the title to NOT WORKING we tested these save and it say you cant get trophy with it even when with xploder
it is like MGS2,3 after update so please change it so we work on new one with new saves as this will be miss leading

Thanks man. I've done just that.
Again, just so we don't have any confusion:
THESE SAVES DO NOT UNLOCK ANY TROPHIES FOR METAL GEAR SOLID 4.
Oh well... was worth a try. I was merely trying to contribute to the community. Best to let this thread sink into obscurity until a proper Xploder/CFW thread with the new saves can be uploaded.
EDIT: I've also requested that this thread by locked by a moderator... again, to prevent any confusion.

I did. It won't let me change the main linked thread, but you can clearly see the "NOT WORKING" when you look at the top of the original post... like, just to the right of my username. I don't have any other way to change the main link on the front of the forums. Anyway, like I said, I've asked a mod to lock this thread.

w8 a sec so i just got the mgs hd and just dw the yno save set but i am playing first storry ligt and after that i was gone do the save set of yno but wat doe you mean its like mgs2&3 after the update i did not insta any update it keep's on poping up evry time i start the game so if i insta that uppdate i wil not be abel 2 work whit yno save set correct me if im wrong
