Modding Your Level:
For now the max level you can go to is 127 anything higher it tells you you're missing DLC.

Now the Highlighted Number and Dot is what you need to Change.
if you are level 50 The HEX number will be 32 on your save. I changed it to 7F to be level 127

Heres a save that is de-encrypted i can't say it will load but if you open the SAVE0004.sav up in Hex edit program you can see the text like you can in game genie.. i'm posting this for people that do not have game Genie and would like to try and find a new "Hack" or just look through the file

how did u get the de encrypted one to a hex editor? i tried copy and paste and it wont work.. im so confused

You need the PS3 modding tool "Game Genie" and your US BL2 character on a USB stick.
Inside Game Genie, you'll right click your BL2 save and then chose "advanced mode".
Then your SAVE000X.SAV will be de-crypted and loaded into a HEX editor.
There you may apply the changes per your liking. Save will en-crypt it again (for use with PS3 after restoring the modded character to PS3).

My values work for the Commando Class.

If the addresses are different for each character, how would you go about finding the addresses for like the Mechromancer?

basically these offsets vary only some bytes (still inside the same screen).

I have used 3 ways:

1) I was looking for patterns around the fixes for Sirene, and found similar pattern in Axton. Then placed in proportion my changes in the HEX mode editor.

2) I was using simple mode, to set the file into a particular state. Like Backpack to max = 27, and searched for 27 as HEX. Then changed it to 7F = 127, it worked.

3) If I was uncertain, I've used an other save, where I knew the values for the Level and other parts were different. If I found matching HEX values, I found a verified address.

Still a bit of searching needed, but with this cook book, you can modify Mechromancer in little time.
