Bruteforce worked fine for these. Changed the region where applicable, removed the copy protection, updated the param.sfo, and then Rebuild. Perhaps it's not necessary, but I just always hit rebuild to check for errors.
If you're not getting a corruption error on the copy to your PS3 step, I'm not sure what the issue is.
