Yup, do it like the dd.gsc
It will be in the 0000b4a0.dat I believe.
Just search for "rank"
Start at the 78 DA and go down tho the FF FF FF FF before the next GSC.
There will be two sets of FF FF FF FF you will notice one is right after the file size of the 'next' gsc.
You want to go to the 'first' FF FF FF FF.

what can i say? you sir are a scholar. and a gentleman, if only there were more members willing to put so much effort into helping others, and i cant belive how detailed you have got it, i fail with tuts. no patiance lol.

I would have never got that far without the information you put out
. I know the tutorial wasn't easy to follow but it taught me, and got me to this point.

By the way:
The reason not all patches work is because missions is still to large even after you compress it. FFViewer has the same problem "Error saving arithmetic" or something like that.
To fix that you need to spread the mod throughout other GSCs and remove all of the "// /* /** ect."
I recommend using _ac130.gsc dd.gsc events.gsc or utillity.gsc
Here is a Notepad++ plug-in to help get you started with modding =D
