The avatars are pretty awesome and the cross-game chat was even better. I know everyone has already asked Sony to add cross-game chat but all they have been doing recently is taking away features and adding security patches. What is taking them so long to add these features? I would pay a yearly subscription to their Playstation Plus just for this. Come on Sony, give us some cool avatars and new menus.

I agree, the only XMB update that i noticed was the one where they put a gray box around each one of your friends.

I really hope that Sony doesn't use the same new interface from the NGP on the PS3...

@MasonGL that is true tho it could be an optional thing rather than auto.

While the XMB is easy to use, it uses way to much power to run. If Sony could make it less intensive and more functional, that would be great. You can do so much more with the Xbox's dashboard, I don't get why Sony is so hesitant to roll out some new updates. They certainly have the resources to do so. As Coopdawg said, it could be optional.

PS3 just sucks, they don't care about how good their system is as long as people aren't hacking it.

simple solution buy an xbox soooo much better i own both but damn xbox is better

i like the current one but a new makeover could be good :y:
