All my controller's left joystick are ****ed.... From click it and pushing forward to run in MW2 and Blackops, the plastic edge has dug into the joystick stick.

In other words, after like 3 months the round cylinder of the joystick's base is half cut from friction....

Sony should use appropriate polymeres imo.

Am i the only one having this issue ?

we all have the same problem. that's why i get two controllers just in case something like that might happen. if I were you get those mod sticks that might help you.

the ps2 sticks were more durable den the ps3 sticks..cant we just swap em?

i went to try this but the ps2 sticks base (the part that slides around the edge) is actually thicker than the DS3 it does in fact fit on the DS3 they both have the same rectangle key, but you would lose some movement

Do you guys think i can get a replacement from sony ? Called them and they said to ship it.

Even tho it is illegal where i live to make the customer pays for the shipping in order to get the legal warranty applyed, they wont change their position.

Threatened to sue them but nothing to do with these scammers.

I use Controller Freaks and my oldest one is about 6-7 months and it hasn't wore out yet. :confused: Maybe it's Sony's retailed controllers?

Yes it is worth it and all you have to do with PS3 is go to Settings>Accessory Settings>Reassign Controllers> And then hold down the PS button on it.
Cheap, Yes but the higher the price, The better your experience is.
