(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My controllers has an average life of 6 months.

All my controller's left joystick are ****ed.... From click it and pushing forward to run in MW2 and Blackops, the plastic edge has dug into the joystick stick.

In other words, after like 3 months the round cylinder of the joystick's base is half cut from friction....

Sony should use appropriate polymeres imo.

Am i the only one having this issue ?

i can deal with it but maybe sum modifying can fix it

My white controller is almost yellow, the joystick is sticky and there's scum in between. It's 2 years old though, so it's okay I guess

I have the same problem. Fortunately for me I have a ton of PS2 controllers around that I've scavenged parts from. So every few months I just replace the stick with a new one. It beats the hell out of $54.99 Hope this helps someone.

It's harder to sprint for some reason. The left stick won't press down as easy as it would.

Thats the issue I'm having with my controller. Sorry I can't really help you with yours.

I used to have the same problem in the past i bought over 6 sixaxsis controllers they all ended up like this playing cod games

. ive bought a Dual shock 3 controller the problem has stopped .the L3 R3 buttons on the dualshock are alot tougher

I believe they fixed the issue with the analogue sticks with the new DualShock 3 controllers.

Playing MW2 on tactical layout is ruining my controllers...
I don't know about you guys, but it has come to the point where i'm aiming with the right analog stick and a little pressure on the stick is what it takes to press R3 accidentally.

It happens to me a lot. I'm aiming a bit aggressively and BAM!, the character crouches and or goes prone... I remember failing kills a couple of times in Search and Destroy games when i was the last man standing and everybody was watching me play because of that very same occasional problem! It made me look like a n00b! /facepalm lol
