All my controller's left joystick are ****ed.... From click it and pushing forward to run in MW2 and Blackops, the plastic edge has dug into the joystick stick.

In other words, after like 3 months the round cylinder of the joystick's base is half cut from friction....

Sony should use appropriate polymeres imo.

Am i the only one having this issue ?

i still got my original launch controller.. works like its brand new. a few drops but its still kicking :420:

LOL the springs on my controller's Joystick wont even go back to the middle of the axis its so worn out. I just bought new a one noticed difference right away.

I've had my original since around October. Yes, the left stick is ****ed and gets stuck if pushed upward left, but hey, it still works very nicely :]

Is there any third party controller that is better (in term of durability and price) than sony's official ones ?

Same problem here. I got those nasty cuts in my left stick which makes it really annoying after a while.

Are these controllers good ? lol

I'm using my 5th controller right now I think. All other 4 were ****ed thanks to the Call of Duty running system. It's a really good and easy to use running system but imo Sony should just come up with a new controller wich is more resistant to stuff like this.
