Well Some of you may know that a new tool has come out that can decrypt the CORE_OS_PACKAGE.pkg and the lv1.self and lv2.self Files ►You must login or register to view this content.

Well You must login or register to view this content. over @psgroove used that program and it ACTUALLY WORKS!!! So he decided to go looking into the lv1.elf file and found this useful peice of text [You must login or register to view this content.] (It was to long to post)....


This led him AND me to believe that Sony really didn't "Completely" remove the OtherOS Feature, Which may mean that sony *might* have plans to bring it back

too bad i missed out on the otheros on the ps3 cause i bought mine after sony removed it

This will be the greatest thing to happen to the PS3 since Geohot found the keys. Thanks for the info on this, as this is the only site I get my PS3 news from. +Rep and Thanks to you guys!

LOL..... apparently you don't know who originally posted that in the first place... It is me that posted this on psgroove all they did was copy/paste what i posted

I don't care who posted it. I just said this is the only place I get my PS3 news from and since I saw it posted by NGT, I gave thanks to them. Did you post it first here? Or link to your PSGroove post?

No. i Posted it on psgroove and didnt think of posting it here cause i mainly post on psgroove You must login or register to view this content..
