Sony blog's state that they are taking care of this as fast and sufficient as they can. If Sony was'nt handling this the right way law enforcement would'nt be involved.

I think Sony keeps delaying the time for two reasons.

One: Sony needs to find The person/group responsible for this outcome first.

Two: without Sony knowing who was responsible for the intrusion the question remains "can it happen again?". Regardless of new security measures, This attack was labeled as "a highly sophisticated cyber-attack" i would stall as Sony is doing untill the person/group responsible is apprehended and punished to assure 100% safety from it ever happening again.

There is nobody to be found. It's all BS. This power outage was done by sony to prevent CFW rebug users from stealing psn games for free. Nobodies credit card, info, whatever was stolen. It's BS.

they should put it back up its soposed to be " un hackable " now with the new updates

with the testers testing out the servers they may have found some flaws and there fixing them ?

even if u find who hacked psn it wont assure u it wont happen again, made by other people or even the same guys, hope that is not a reason for them on this delay to put PSN back on, cuz its pathetic

That was another thing i had in mind. Im sure Sony is a smart company and all but come on they lose money from re-bug firmware they lose money from either a hacker or there own stupidity. I would say they held a press conference and took a traditional 7 second japanese bow, but although it would'nt be the first time someone has lied at a press conference. If you think hard enough it's almost to hard believe that Sony would do something like this to users who are loyal. Also everything Sony has released publicly has just been statements about them having a cyber-attack, personal information being leaked and ofcourse there apologies. There has been no strong evidence from Sony stating that there servers have been hacked into besides there loyal word and Sony shutting the servers down.

When people spent their hard earned money on expesive devices they expect those devices to work properly.. if this isn't the case, consumers have all the rights to complain...welcome to the adult world.



Sony had shitty outdated security... how the eff can they say the attack is higly sophisticated while they never paid any attention to server security.
Also storing sensitive info in unencrypted plain text?? what the hell were they thinking...

Sony labeled the attack as such..but sony is full of shit, they call the attack highly sophisticated but they arent sophisticated enough themselves to have proper security and encryption on stored files wasnt needed either huh sony...
