Sony blog's state that they are taking care of this as fast and sufficient as they can. If Sony was'nt handling this the right way law enforcement would'nt be involved.

I think Sony keeps delaying the time for two reasons.

One: Sony needs to find The person/group responsible for this outcome first.

Two: without Sony knowing who was responsible for the intrusion the question remains "can it happen again?". Regardless of new security measures, This attack was labeled as "a highly sophisticated cyber-attack" i would stall as Sony is doing untill the person/group responsible is apprehended and punished to assure 100% safety from it ever happening again.

I think Sony just doesn't want people to go on their accounts because that will be the only way we can see what is been stolen from our accounts. So I expect a major rant wave to Sony when people will start logging in ...

It won't happen again since yesterday i've gotten quite a large amount of complaints on this subject. So i have stopped capitalising the first letter in every word to ensure the happiness of the NGU users. It won't happen again.

let me correct you there they said they anit rushing it cus they want to take there time to do the update so no body can hack it again for me i would say let them take 2 or 3 more weeks as long as that system don't get hack again :y: :420:

I think that they are doing the right thing my theory is a was earlier in the week and before this past weekend is that they are not going to relaunch till they can be sure there is safety for the users there which is the right thing to do.

I believe that they delay mainly came from the fact that sony Online entertainment was hacked early this week and that slowed them do as they didn't just have the many servers for PSN to worry about bringing back up but the however many servers for SOE as well, As they learned from the experience during the PSN outage and checked those servers as fast as they could and got things fixed there and are planing to launch both the soe servers and psn servers at the same time. Just my theory. May be the same as yours but in different words.

How about that it takes more than a week to rebuild Sony defenses from scratch? Yea... Most of you people don't even know the basics of coding and/or programming. And than they may try to hack into their own system to see if it can withstand. Obviously the last didn't.:carling:
