Activision Blizzard is concerned that the continuing outage of Sony's online services is preventing its users from having fun.

The Sony Playstation Network hack, which exposed the details of more people than currently live in the United Kingdom, has seen the firm take its online gaming systems offline and that has left gamers playing by themselves as opposed to against their friends and peers online.




Obvious as this may be, it's the first time that a games software house has come out with public criticism of Sony, and with some weeks yet to come before the problem is expected to be settled, more are likely to follow.
Sony was expected to start services up again this week but failed to meet its own target as it scrambles to shore up its security. Some reports suggest that the online service will be restored by the end of this month, putting the outage at about six weeks.

I can't believe how much money is being wasted with all of this going on. PSN is going to have one hell of a time getting people back to ps3 after this is settled.

The main game people want to play on psn when it comes back up is COD, so there is obviously huge concerns for activision

activision is just angry cuz atm there not many people who buy bo, so they loose money... if they really would think about the fun of players they would never make bo online so shitty...

what i don't understand is why didn't they disconnect the server with personal info, and just let us connect to each other for online gaming while they build the new system. It would've taken one extra day to make things better for us, the end consumer.

I gotta believe sony is losing money, but I doubt its anything to make them blink about... Ps3 is only one small aspect of what they are into. Medical equip, tv's.,music, electronics... Who knows what else.

ps3 is just a small project for them if ps3 was sonys only device that they sold
