Okay, so about back in march I wanted to put wanikoko cfw on my ps3, well I did not no that some ps3's did not support that type of cfw. So i installed it, it restarted, then turned off. I tried to turn it back on and bam: YLOD. Basically i got the ylod from the firmware not the overheating or what-not. Any ps3 experts wanna help? Its been sitting in my bonus room for 7 months now.
I understand all these ylod fixes BUT Mine got ylod due to a cfw brick i installed wanikoko cfw on a p s3 thats not compatible. And yes to awesomeness1 i would like help and any body else 1 - on 1

Again, look at my post further up. If you search for Waninkoko bricks on google or here you will find what I have said to be true. You will need to recover your nand, unless you by some miracle can still can boot to the recovery menu. The only way to recover the NAND is by getting a flasher, and get some soldering done.
How would i do this? i really would go try and fix my ps3 i need some one who is willing to help me do this 1 on1 somehow, ihave skype, blakxfrost.

Start with the things you need:
-Soldering Iron
-Rosin Core Flux(Best for these kinds of things)
-A Progskeet or compatible NAND Flasher, (unless you have a Nor console)
-26 Gauge kynar Wire or equivalent
If you've never soldered in your life i suggest you practice before you ruin your ps3
Ok listen this is gonna sound weird but you got to hairdry your ps3. There is a big change that this will work believe it or not.
First you need to unplug youre ps3 then you put it on a table or shit, and turn it around. on the back you wil see the ventilation shafts you are gonna hairdry into them.
slowely go from side to side with youre hairdryer. do this for about 5to10 minutes. put an jacket or something over the ps3 so the heat won't escape.
after the 5/10minutes let the ps3 cool of a bit then plug it in again and you are ready to game.
if this sounds cunfusing look it op on youtube. it really works atleast for me it has so i hope this wil be helpfull.
First off this will not not work due to my ps3 being bricked. So far mrbear has been the most helpful although my knowledge of soldering is not good enough for me to continue. Second off, I will not thank you just so you can get rep. Seeing how I have been here for a very long time, I know how that works. If you had more creditable information then yes, I would thank you.
