But before I threw it away (I took EVERYTHING apart) I took out the HDD (Disk Drive). Its the 120 GB slim from 2009, and its a Toshiba. Can I use it as a external hard drive? I think I can but do I need a enclosure for it? If I do, what kind do I need, and can you please post the link to buy it (I only use Amazon and eBay) thanks!!

yes you need to boot linux to be able access the HDD but you need to install it to the usb first on WINDOWS , and to find the drive for the usb go on my computer

But man theres one problem. My computer CANT find the enclosure!! I tried everything but it's NO where in the computer . I know the enclosure is plugged in cause I can hear the hard drive. And how can I boot up Linux??

It wont read the hdd because it wont in windows ! you need linux to read it once you boot from linux you should be able to see it and maybe format it.
And to boot linux Boot from USB on PC start up through bios f12 or f8

find he boot menu and boot from the usb you installed linux too..

Ok so I get a flash drive ?? And put the ISO file on the flash drive?

yes but no. Install the iso to the flash drive using unetbootin .. cant just drag it on the usb.

yep then boot it up i would watch a tutorial on youtube so you know what youre doing when booting linux ok
