But before I threw it away (I took EVERYTHING apart) I took out the HDD (Disk Drive). Its the 120 GB slim from 2009, and its a Toshiba. Can I use it as a external hard drive? I think I can but do I need a enclosure for it? If I do, what kind do I need, and can you please post the link to buy it (I only use Amazon and eBay) thanks!!

there nothing wrong with the drive mate its because youve put it in the ps3... if you put it back in ps3 and put Full format disk that may take away the checksums thast stop it from showing up. maybe
