(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right i can do it easily with friends routers. its really easy. Im not dumb when it comes to stuff like this.

However i own one of the shittist routers in the world.

BT home hub 1.5

I want To DMZ my playstation. The DMZ option however only allows me to DMZ a Device that wasnt assigned manually. So i must go on my PS3 and select Easy for the setup. Then it appears in the list to DMZ. When i DMZ it comes up with a message " do you want to assign a public Ip address to ....."

So i click yes. Go to my ps3 and try to connect to the internet and sign in psn. It comes up with a Error message about DNS . When i try to change the internet settings, it wont obtain a IP address.

I then also cant access my BT home hub from my laptop once ive DMZd. But im still connected to the internet on it.

i cant assign a DMZ to a Ip it has to be to a device that doesnt have a Static IP.

Whats the Public Ip address ?!?! is that the one thats like 89.68......
My mates router you can assign it to a local IP like 192.168.1.100
help meee

Cant DMZ a static IP address with the Homehub.

the router basics don't match up to assign a public IP address in the DMZ. The whole point of a router is to take the public IP address and route all connections (local/router IP address) to the public one.

well thats the only option in DMZ >.<

did your ISP assign or give you this router? If so, try calling your ISP support so you're not charged per minute to call India.

maybe.... and yes. The BThomehub is only available from buying internet from BT. it claims to be worth £60
