Activision-Blizzard knew how popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was when it was launched back in 2007, that they felt that it needed another visit.

Many Call of Duty fans were upset that developers, Treyarch were going back to the WWII format, as that era has now been done to death. Many gamers still love the old World War II format, but if you like all the latest weapons, then you will still be seething that a second Modern Warfare was not explored.

It seems that Activision-Blizzard have buckled under the pressure, and have announced that they are now working on Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2, and is scheduled to launch in fall 2009. Now that Activision-Blizzard is back at the helm, we can expect a truly awesome sequel to a truly awesome game.

yes this game will be hot i dont know what there gonna add far as guns but they better do something way out of the norm

YES! I heard there was gunna be a modern warfare 2, i beleived it but i really didnt expect this year. Man they must really know they screwed up cod5 eh.

This is going to be one of the most anticapated games people will look for during fall and the holidays The Call of Duty crews really excell at this

Can't wait, I keep going back to MW since it is definitely more exciting and different than seeing another World War II game. I think going level 55 is 10x better than 65, either that or they need more guns to add to WaW. But MW is so diverse, just seems like a downgrade in graphics, But still gotta love the gameplay. Can't wait for MW2 Too bad it is coming out so much later, would have definitely preferred MW2 over WaW

Yeah if they had better guns on WaW it would be a little bit better, but the WW2 theme sucks if you ask me.
