The thread was explaining in HIGH detail why the PS3 is better than the Xbox 360. If he gets to create a thread defending the PS3, I have the right to defend the Xbox 360. I am going to address all the statements he made

Here we go =D

1. The newer Xbox's don't get the red ring of death. The only way you can get the red ring of death on a newer console is if you keep it in a box with no air.

2. PS3 games have better graphics? Yes but do game developers care? **** no. A game like Call of Duty or Resident Evil don't care about the graphic differences. Each game on both consoles are the same. No difference! Now, a game developed JUST for the PS3 like Uncharted has to meet the PS3's graphic limit because it was made just for the PS3. In reality, most people will be playing Call of Duty, not Uncharted.

3. To be honest, blue ray movies are incredible. Nuff' said. Xbox can't beat the blue ray aspect of the PS3.

4. Yes, batteries are expensive and the Xbox controller runs on batteries. You can buy a new Xbox controller and a rechargeable battery pack for $70. The controller is 10x better than the PS3's when you get used to it.

5. Xbox Live VS PSN. Having free mutiplayer is cool. I like the idea but when you pay for Xbox Live, you get what you pay for. Xbox Live is incredible!

-Private Chat
-Voice messages
-Better security

6. The Xbox's exclusives are better than PS3's exclusives. Halo and Gears of War can easily beat any PS3 exclusive. I must admit, Uncharted is very good and might be the only competition on PS3's side.

7. Even though the PS3 has full 1080P, most games don't reach the limit. Crysis 2 does but it is full 1080P on Xbox too so there isn't much a difference there.

The first statement you made, you contradicted yourself.

I agree 100% on xBox > PS3. I had PS3 for a year and a half. It was the worse shit of my life compared to xbox.

Although this is true, your "fact" you've stated in number 1 is incorrect. The new xBox slims CANNOT get RRoD, this is true; however, the reason to this is because they have removed the red LED lights from the front console so even if you have the same hardware issue on an old xbox that causes RRoD, it wont show it on the new one but it can still have just as many errors.

Both xbox 360 and ps3 have their goods and bads. If you don't think that you are a fanboy.

i completely agree with you,ive had a ps3 since ps1 and last week i got a xbox,the only things i dont like about it is without a headset everyone without a good mic sounds like they have a cold,thats not like that on ps3.and you need to get a headset that can be used on xbox because you need to plug it into your controller,i would like it if it was like ps3 were u just put it in the USB slot.but other than them 2 things i really like the xbox and now that i am use to the xbox controller i am ALOT better on xbox than i am on ps3

Wow, all the games you mentioned in your post are shooters, fail, Gaming doesn't revolve around shooters.

Xbox controller is not as good as the PS3 controller, the PS3 controller has motion sensors, isn't as heavy, built in battery, better d-pad and more accurate and better positioning of joysticks.

Fact is PS3 is better, PS3 outsells 360 in Europe. Americans and Japanese can not say which console is better as they're always biased towards their own home console most of the time.

Xbox has Forza 3

Playstation 3 has Gran Turismo 5 - One of the best and most developed/detailed games of the year

People are still playing GoW2 and Halo.... I don't know anyone who plays god or war or uncharted 2 and little big planet is just plain turd... in short Halo+GoW> Any Ps3 Exclusives
