Yesterday I was banned from XBL.
As you may already know, an NGU member gave me an illegitimate code and I used it on my xbox.
The code never worked.
I tried logging into my XBOX later that day to find that I had been permanently banned.
I checked my E-mail and it said that I have been permanently banned for "Marketplace theft"
I tried calling them and they said there is nothing I can do.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't own an xbox. So you bought a microsoft card off someone and then tried to use it and then they banned you for theft? How can they ban you for theft when the card didn't even work? Or was it an account that they said you stole?
