Yesterday I was banned from XBL.
As you may already know, an NGU member gave me an illegitimate code and I used it on my xbox.
The code never worked.
I tried logging into my XBOX later that day to find that I had been permanently banned.
I checked my E-mail and it said that I have been permanently banned for "Marketplace theft"
I tried calling them and they said there is nothing I can do.
Has this ever happened to any of you?

I went onto my console after being on holiday for a week once to find I was banned, I phoned to ask why cause I hadn't even done anything to get banned and they wouldn't even tell me what the ban was for, and as you said was told there's nothing they could do, really crap service sometimes from microsoft

Was that anything to do with the reward codes ?
:/ i swear it was only for people who abused it and let one time use off the hook
