Like socom? It doesnt matter to me cause cod4 want that great anyways but its the first ok online game that 90% people have played first thats why its thought to be so good.

I don't think it'll be a let down. The first three were all set in WWII and I liked them.
Also, it's not Infinity Ward making this one, it's Treyarch again, who made Call of Duty 3, which was good but not as good compared to Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, all made by Infinity Ward.

Nice idea. A bit like Assassins Creed, where half the levels your an elderly ancestor of the other character fighting in WWII, and the other half your the WWIIs characters great great grandson fighting in Modern Warfare.
