COD5 hasn't been confirmed to be Modern. It has a 75% chance of being set in Veitnam War or WW2. The release data from now is November 2008. This will be changed to Decemeber 2009.

The Reason they maybe making another WWII is that the others ones didn't come out to good

It dosen't matter that it is WW2 or Modern, I just wanna play a game of shooting which i only only dream of

They going back to ww2 to keep it freash I heard(to keep modern warfare fresh)and its made buy traerk duh.

well to get the ww2 theme going they need to make it like pearl harbor or something like that with planes and ships or something but like the fight in germany and everything like that
