(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This thread is about us sharing our road to Diamond camouflage. Whether you've already got them oe working on them.

NOTE: You glitchers aka "bootleg tryhards" with you fraudulent stats and outrageous accuracy need not apply. Talking real diamond not Cubic Zirconias lmao.

I'm working on diamond sub machine guns. They're the dominate class with no "bad" guns, BO2 favors aggressive play and there are less SMGs than AR. Those were my reasons. The Art of War/Cherry Blossom camos are done at once. I usually lower my streaks to CUAV, Lightning and Sentry gun while getting that 150 gun kills. I find Carbon Fiber to be easiest to earn in FFA.

1.) PDW57. Was my second gold weapon(after FAL) and first on smg journey. Silencer, and/or long barrel, stock are good choices. Easy gun to use, wasn't hard at all. Shoots slow but once you get it going it was beast. I'd say easy to get gold.

2.) Vector. Long barrel, laser and/or suppressor works for this. Shoots fast and has decent reload time. I'd say it was easy to get gold. Head shots were very easy because of firing at chest kicked up often. It's basically an mp7 with lower damage/range with less recoil.

3.) MP7. My favorite SMG. Silencer and/or stock is all you really need. Reload is very fast so no need for fast mag. Nice clip so no need for extended. High damage, fire rate and exaggerated amount of recoil that is very manageable. Easiest gold for me.

4.) MSMC. Argued to be best SMG. I am not a big fan though. Had to use fast mag/extended mags and then either suppressor or laser sight. Damage is really good and the sights made headshots easier. 2nd easiest SMG to use but I like faster fire rates. Still easy to get highest streaks and was as good as advertised.

I am working on Skorpion Evo now. Best SMG up close by far but worst at medium. Using laser on it now. Have about 35 headshots. Anyone have tips for this gun?

Then last is Chicom CQB. I am thinking about using it full auto. I am actually pro semi auto which is why I loved MK14 and now FAL but a burst SMG seems hard to dropshot and such. Tips? I don't need perk tips.

Also I pray for the guys grinding for Assault Rifles, LMGs, Snipers and shotguns. And lol@you trolls grinding for diamond crossbows and other goofiness.

Going to do a shotgun guide soon along with the best perk setups etc.

S12 is one my fav shotguns

Looking forward to it. I'm starting to like the shotguns a lot too, and it took until me trying for diamonds to realize it. Before that, I thought the shotguns weren't as fun to use as they were in MW3.

And yes, S12 is my favorite shotgun as well. I've been using it in S&Awesome face all the time and it's slowly been rising to my #1 gun in kills. It's still got a little way to go to pass the PDW, but I know it'll get there because I never use the PDW anymore.

And on the core thing, that's a nice challenge. I tried core initially when trying for my S12 and out of my 30+ kills in core KC, I was sure I had at least 10-15 one shot kills and when I looked after the game, I found out I only had 4/30+ kills as 1S1K :|

That's when I was like screw that and went to HC KC and out of my 30+ kills in that gamemode, I found at least 15-20+ being 1S1K so I decided to stick with that and it took me a lot less time then it would've in core.

Although I had the luxury of getting an account that I only had to get gold on 1 gun (Chicom) I have a few tips that helped me getting to all gold!

1) Play FFA. As many above have said, this is probably the best game mode to play. It keeps track of your headshots and you average 5-10 headshots per game.

2) For the 150 kills without perks or attachments, use UAV, Counter, Guardian. For many frequent FFA players this may seem as the norm but when used effectively can really help you. (Put Guardian in high-occupancy area)

3) The Chicom (I found) was more deadly in all situations as a burst-fire instead of full-auto. If you use full-auto you lose out on what are probably the two most valuable attachments, silencer and FMJ. Silencer is a must in FFA and FMJ brings the damage up like it was before the silencer was added.

Here's how I do them:

1) Play FFA for Headshots - Using a Reflex Sight and trying to get headshots each time works. I get anywhere from 10-15 a game. It's a time taking process, but it works for me.

2) After the headshots, I strip all the perks and attachments and play HARDCORE Kill Confirmed. It's too easy to get kills in Hardcore so those 150 kills w/o perks and attachments add up fairly quick. In the same process, I usually finish the Bloodthirsty, Revenge, and Double Kill challenges as well.

That's how I've been doing em so far and it's worked out pretty well. The only painstaking bit are the headshots. After that's done, the rest is cake.

I just need 4 bloodthirstys on the MP7 and 10 bloodthirstys on the vector to get diamond, working on them at the same time.

Play Hardcore TDM or KC. Just be a little cautious, maybe even camp a bit and you'll get it with ease.

Yeah but I sort of like to help the team, do well and get the challenges lol. Rapid Fire seems to give SMGs less range than a shotgun. Although I may try this in FFA

It has been brought to my attention that as long as you finish in the top 3 in FFA you'll get credit for a win. Not calling card challenge win but in your w/l ratio. So to be honest I'm going to do all my revenge medal challenges there lmao. Only 2 guns to go. I am not a fan of FFA and notice those RPG challenge trolls go in FFA trying to shoot at ground to get kills. They should probably patch the top 3 win problem though because being in the top 3 is fairly easy.

I'd stay clear of hardcore modes for any challenge not associated with snipers/shotguns.

In Ground War in particular you can grab at least two Bloodthirsty medals a game.

Scorpion: Pray to the RNG gods for highjacked. Coupling it with rapid fire, although heavily reducing the range, doesn't really matter since highjacked is such a close quarters map and getting a headshot will be much easier.

Chicom: I highly recommend from using select fire. It decreases the fire rate to some of the other SMGs (such as the MP7 and the vector) while maintaining a low 11m range for a 4 bullet kill. Besides, there is hardly a noticeable burst delay for the Chicom so select fire isn't all that necessary.
