I voted for option 1, as I strongly believe that K/D is the most accurate way of measuring ability in the game. A higher K/D always means a better player. People with low K/D's aren't as good in the game as people with higher K/D's (in all cases) in my opinion. What do you think?

A good K/d in an objective mode means about as much as how far you can piss. Sure, if you're dominating and there is little to no chance of them getting back then pad you score with a few kills. Otherwise you should be playing that objective like there is no tomorrow.

I don't think it necessarily gives a skill level of the player but I like to use it to control and guide my games. I'm a rusher and assaulter and I can judge the decisions I made by the kdr I had in that game and either correct my self or use certain routes again. Its nice to have a little something to evaluate myself with

I learned this from all my friends with 0.70 k/ds, who camp with claymores and aim at doors, they use the same tactics as someone with a 4.00 k/d, but they don't get it because they're not as good.

Also, if you say it doesn't matter, yours most likely is low.

I agree probably 90% with this. You make a good point. There are guys who rush with high and low K/D and there are guys that Camp with High and low K/D and then you have those in the middle. I mean I saw a guy last night with a .40 K/D and he played with the AK 74u for the most part. So clearly if you can't get a 1.0 KD or higher using that gun, it's just you

I mean if someone doesn't play hard and they just want to make videos then good for them. But you can't say, "well if I wanted to have k/d i could"...Well if I had wheels I'd be a car.

Obviously it's not the only gauge of skill in the game. But chances are someone with a .50 K/D isn't going to be as good as someone with a 2.00 K/D UNLESS that person only plays Capture the Flag or something.

But yeah usually people with low K/D like to say it doesn't matter...Because in their minds "if they tried" they'd be great. I like how you can look at KS usage in Combat record too. If I see someone only has RC Cars and like 30 Care Packages, but they are second Prestige, then chances are they are trash

In my clan you have to have a K/D over 1.00, but I ALWAYS make them try out. I've seen guys with 1.60 K/D's and go 3-17 every match.

It does nothing if some kid creates a new account does good in his 1st match and has a 4 k/d he might suck but have a good k/d!!!!!!!

Whats wrong with having a high kd in a objective game mode? If your slaying then it allows your team to capture/defend more objectives because the other team will have to keep running to the objective. Although if you camp and are just terrible then it doesn't help at all. That's why I like CTF. If I just go for kills it still helps my team because of the spawn delay. If I get a nice 3-4 piece then my team can kill 2-3 more and there whole team is down so we can cap the flag easy.

I'm more of a defending objective player. I watch people who try to take our objectives. But if it's needed I can capture some. Lately I've been capturing a lot more. Using the ak74u helps since it has better mobility then what I used to use, the ak47.

You could have a high KD by camping your ass off or only using explosive ammunition weapons. KD can't show whether you truely play good, or just like a scrub, therefore, I think it is flawed in that sense. KD for every weapon is good, though.
