I voted for option 1, as I strongly believe that K/D is the most accurate way of measuring ability in the game. A higher K/D always means a better player. People with low K/D's aren't as good in the game as people with higher K/D's (in all cases) in my opinion. What do you think?

I think K/D is important. It shows how people handle on their own. But Win Loss ratio is extremely important. My KDR is 1.35, but my Win/Loss is 1.68. I am not the greatest player but in objective based games we will a lot. I think when you are playing those winning is what its about. If you are running the flag in CTF and you die a lot but you win because you got the objectives, thats what matters. So all in all I dont think KDR is extremely important

My k/d is 1.77 but I'm a beast j.k lol... Yeah I mess about with my friends on search and destroy tea bagging n00bs and ninja defuses but sometimes I go on hq to get my kd back up. I'm not really a try hard either I just play naturally and have fun and then again thats what a game is about having fun not saying 'protect your teammates' and all that shit its a game for godsake maybe if you where in Afghanistan!

I agree with the first guy who posted to this thread, I am pretty picky about my K/D and believe me if I would only play TDM my K/D would easily be around 3.00 but I love playing objective games and I play those games to complete the objective not get kills so that definitely brings my K/D down, so really it all just depends on what you're playing.

yeah i think that ther eis one thing we can agree on is that it really depends on which game mode you are playing.

If you have a high kd it means your either very good or like on mw2 you either hacked it or boosted the shit out of it. And usually the people with a low kd suck so they make excuses saying they play around or there not trying.

K/D does mean something if you always play tryhard.
I for one, run around with Snipers/Ballistic knife/shit like that and my K/D is only 1.62
I honestly don't care about it to much.

yeah k/d depends also on what type of player you are liek if you play for fun or if you 'tryhard' a lot.

It says a bit about skill but not to much.
