Here is the ps3 FF that works 100% perfectly thanks to derek trotter and gigoo for sharing and godlymods for his .gsc script. You must login or register to view this content.
For all you psjailbreakers just ftp to your ps3 navigate to /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30377/USRDIR and delete patch_mp.ff and copy over the one from the link above. next step get it on PSN.

I think i was a bit unclear, i know you need JB, what i meant was, if you can access the ps3 system files, why not spoof the version.txt to make it read 4.20, like what they used to do on psp.

sounds to complicated... so does the firmware save to the hdd or the ps3 system?

Oh i get you. But the version of ps3 is on the nand. a bit of separate secure memory which only contains firmware.

Not Happy or Sad

no it works offline for ppl on 3.41 and jailbreak. and it would work online if you have modded it and update firmware.

Ahhh, so as of yet can the PJ not access the NAND?
Also can PJ install custom PUP files?
Sorry for asking , but i updated my ps3 too 4.20 as i did not think not playing online for 4 days was worth it

yep so far anyway. And yes the firmware isnt on HDD thats why when you format you dont go back to dev firmware :P


I updated too lol couldnt wait but they say there gonna do smthin with jailbreak and make it pass the firmware patch.
